As the Managing Principal of OCG, Gary Omura has over 20 years of human resources experience within the semiconductor, software, computer, disk drive, networking, and Internet/e-Commerce industries.
Gary has led compensation, benefit, and HRIS/Payroll program integration efforts for a number of mergers and acquisitions, including Wind River Systems-Integrated Systems Inc., KLA-Tencor, Unisys-Convergent Technologies, and GE-Calma. He has designed and implemented base compensation, flexible benefit, variable pay, executive compensation, sales compensation, and qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation/benefit programs in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Israel.
Gary has also worked with clients in assessing optimal organizational structures, executive search, and staff development. A sample of clients includes 3Com, American Biosystems, Arcturus, Extreme Networks, Infineon, Aspect Communications, BroadVision, Calient Networks, Conxion, Inktomi, Minolta Systems, Mirapoint, Pacific Consultants, PDF/Solutions, Synopsys, Wavesplitter Technologies, Trend Technologies, WebSideStory, Wind River Systems, Xilinx, Vicor and other leading high-tech firms. Gary holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
